What:
A non-competitive 5K/1K Run/Walk to educate and inspire the community about organ and tissue donation while benefiting Donate Life California Organ and Tissue Donor Registry.
Who:
All runners and walkers, dialysis patients, transplant recipients, organ donors, donors families, allied health professionals
and students are invited to come out and participate! Donor families are invited to make their own patch for the OneLegacy Bridging Lives Quilt
When:
Saturday APRIL 28, 2012. The race celebrates the last days of National Donate Life Month.
Where:
California State University, Fullerton campus, around Intramural Field.
800 State College Boulevard
Fullerton, CA.
Register by mail, fax, or online.
Registration begins at 7:00 AM race-day.
Registration fees:
- $35 for runners & walkers.
- $25 for Individual living donor/recipient
- $25 per person Family Registration (4 or more only)
- $25 per person Team Registration (10 or more Team Members required)
All REGISTERED participants receive a FREE T-Shirt!

There are over 100,000 people today awaiting a life saving transplant and 17 people die each day because they won't get the gift they so desperately need. Through your support and contributions, we can save lives and inspire the community to donate life. We have made it easy this year to help you raise money and awareness by offering online donations and fundraising. Thank you again for your support!
To honor a donor, recipient or loved one and inspire others to donate life, the "Circle of Life Garden" will offer the opportunity to place a 2 X 2 sign with a picture and 15 words or less in the garden. Your contribution of $50.00 will help us to inspire the community to donate life and help the over 100,000 people currently awaiting a life saving transplant.

Next year is our 10th anniversary for our walk run. We are doing something special this year, by providing you with an opportunity to share your thoughts and feelings about what this run/walk has meant to you over the years. This can be in a form of a poem, quote, or just your own thoughts written down and signed. These words will be built into a quilt which will be a part of the opening ceremonies next year and on display for all to see, during the run/walk.
We have a limited amount of space so we are giving you an opportunity to purchase a full square or half square, before the event. If there are still squares available, they can be bought at the event. The thoughts you share on the quilt will be flashed on the large screen during the run. *If the squares sell out, your check will be returned to you at the walk/run.
When we receive your payment, we will put your square aside and you will write your thoughts at this year’s event, and you will see them on the finished quilt at next year’s celebration.
Your square will be available at the Donate Life Run Walk Store/Tent, for you to design.
The prices are as follows:
- Square (approx. 4 ½” x 4 ½”) $25.00
- Half square (approx. 2 ¼” x 2 ¼”) $15.00
